I believe we all have sublime qualities which one cannot really explain.
Perhaps our most personal feature is our imagination; with it we can do
anything... We can escape the physical world and experience things that
are impossible to humans. In my work I try to create literary objects. I
make metal sing and tell stories, reference the magical realism of of
Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and plant Marilyn Monroe's kisses on Kafka's
frozen ax. I was a writer for 7 years and All of my pieces are based on
stories, cultural myths, and meditations on popular culture.

 Most
of my designs come to me in my dreams. I plan them out backwards often,
thinking of the finished product, and then mapping out techniques I
will use to create them. Often these dreams wake me up at night and I
have to go and create something like a ring with four feathers at 3 AM.
I
love to create things that I see in visions. I make spiritual, soulful,
and ethereal creations that make me smile, and sometimes laugh. The
most important thing is that the things I make give people joy and make
them feel special knowing that they are wearing something that was
created in joy, and made with love by an artist.
